PCFM-A-100-3-U Ultrafiltration Ceramic Membranes

* Ceramic filtration membrane is a new generation of inorganic ceramic membrane.
* It uses inorganic materials such as Al2O3, ZrO2, TiO2, SiO2, SiC, and one or more components of kaolin as raw materials to make porous structure support.
* Then it is prepared by surface coating technology.
* Finally it is sintered at high temperature.
* Ceramic filtration membrane can be divided into plate type, tubular type and multi-channel type.

1. Characteristics of ceramic membrane

Material excellent - high corrosion resistance, high strength, heat resistance, suitable for solvent or oil, and suit for many kinds of drainage.

Long service life- the ceramic filter membrane system has a longer service life compared with the hollow fiber membrane, so the full life cost is the lowest.

Energy saving - the membrane surface is not easy to stain, and the replacement structure design.

Maintenance free -automatic control system can reduce the daily maintenance.

2. Products model

Principle

The model of ceramic membrane is made up of alphabetic code and Arabia numeric code. The model includes, but it does not contain the following code. The rules of ceramic filtration membrane sheet are as follows

The PCFM is the initial letter (Plate ceramic filtration membrane).

The definition of materials: alumina (Al2O3) code named "A", titanium oxide (TiO2) code "T", zirconium oxide (ZrO) code "Z", and kaolin (Kaolin) code "K".

Pore size definition: the nominal pore size is less than 1 µm, which is represented by mean pore size, greater than 1 µm, using aperture micron number plus U. For example, the nominal pore size is 50nm code name "50", and the nominal pore size is 10 µm code name "10U".

The dimension code definition: 50mm width is "1", 100mm width is "2", 150mm width is "3", 200mm width is "4", 250mm width is "5", and other dimension define "X".

The code for classification of membrane filtration: (1) microfiltration is "M"; (2) Nano filtration is "N", (3) ultrafiltration membrane, code name "U".

For example:

"PCFM-A-100-3-U" refers to the ultrafiltration membrane, which uses alumina as the main component, the width of the ceramic filter membrane is 150mm, and the nominal pore size is 100nm.

Trans-membrane pressure

The relationship between flux and pressure, the flux can be quickly recovered by simple cleaning. Moreover, the trans-membrane pressure (TMP) of the ceramic filter membrane is 50% lower than that of the organic membrane.

Hydrophilic

Ceramic materials are inherently hydrophilic, less wetting than water, and water spreads on the surface of ceramic membrane, which is more conducive to sewage separation than organic materials.

Water temperature calibration

For application with large temperature variations, temperature correction should be taken in consideration. The calibration coefficient is set to 1 at 25 C. The calibration coefficient is read out from Figure 1-8 according to the actual design temperature. The actual design flux is the product of nominal flux at 25 C and temperature correction coefficient.
